Mike Mravle was one of the top players on the soccer field for the Saints during that program's most successful years. In fact, he was one of the top reasons for the turning around of the program in the mid-1990's. The Saints went 45-33-2 in his four seasons and captured the school's first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer title (1994) and two CCAC tournament championships (1994 and 95). He scored 34 career goals, including a personal-best 19 in his sophomore season of 1994. He was a four-time all-CCAC selection. Perhaps the most notable statistic of his four-year playing career at St. Francis came in the first seven games of his sophomore season in 1994. He led the Saints to seven straight wins to open the season and scored 11 goals and was credited with nine assists in those seven games alone. In addition to his success on the soccer field, Mravle was also an excellent student. He was named an NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete in each of his last two seasons and was also honored as a GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team selection in 1995. Mravle graduated from Joliet West High School.
