Consider by many CSF coaches as the "Michael Jordan" of CSF, Chris Prieboy excelled in all three sports at St. Francis. That was apparent when she decided to go out for tennis her senior year and came away with a 19-0 mark at #4 singles. Prieboy had her number retired in 1983 in basketball after setting the career point mark with 2,377 points. She also holds the career mark for assists (318) and field goals (1,054). During her four years, CSF basketball teams went 83-39, including a 26-9 mark her sophomore year. Softball was no different. Prieboy holds six of eight single-season records and is either #2 or #3 in the other two categories. Before this season, she held the top four spots in single-season stolen bases when she stole 21, 19, 19 and 20 during her four years. She also owns nearly all career marks in softball. Under her reins are career marks in hitting (.406), runs scored (135), total hits (192), runs batted in (111), triples (22), home runs (18), and stolen bases (79). She falls just one notch below the career doubles mark of 17 with her 16 doubles.
