Lisa Lukach is remembered as one of the finest shortstops to ever play for the Saints' tradition-rich softball program. She was a four-year letter winner (1989-92), a two-time NAIA All-American (1991 and 92) and helped lead the Saints to three NAIA District 20 titles and a trip to the national tournament in 1992. As a junior in 1991, Lukach posted a .413 batting average with 59 hits in just 48 games. Defensively, she anchored the infield that season and committed just six errors in 177 total chances. She led the national tournament club in hitting in 1992, compiling a .380 batting average. She struck out just five times in 150 total plate appearances that season, or just once in every 30 trips to the plate. Lukach is a graduate of West Aurora High School.
