As a setter in 1981, she helped lead the team to their first-ever NAIA National Tournament appearance, where they finished sixth in the nation. That same year, Sniegowski was honored as an NAIA First Team All-American, an All-National Tournament Team selection, and an NAIA District 20 choice. Prior to, and including, 1981, she was named to numerous All-Tournament teams and, in 1979 and 1980, she was an all State AIAW pick. Donna was also a USVBA All-American in 1975, two years prior to her Queen of Peace H.S. team finishing second in the state volleyball finals. She holds the CSF record for most assists in a match with 48.
