ASHEVILLE, N.C. --
Dyannara Franco concluded her junior season on a high note by placing amongst the Top 20 performers in the country in the 1,500-meter run while representing the University of St. Francis' women's track & field team at the 45th Annual NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday afternoon.
Franco competed in the 1,500-meter preliminaries event, recording a time of 4:44.92 in a field of 20 runners. Needing to register one of the top 12 top times to qualify for the finals on Friday, her 17th place finish was just 5.12 seconds short of the last qualifying spot.
The performance wrapped up the 2026 season for USF.
