KANSAS CITY, Mo./CHICAGO -- Led by four-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Gianna Trenter, the University of St. Francis women's track team boasted seven spots on the 2026 NAIA and CCAC All-Academic Teams when the respective academic honor rolls were released on Wednesday.
Joining Trenter, a graduate student who is completing her coursework for her Master's degree in Health Administration after previously obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology from USF, in earning both NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CCAC All-Academic Team honors were
Marianne Gerona,
Aaralyn Martinez,
Giselle Ramos,
Lauren Manning,
Nicole Vollrath and
Patrycja Mrowca.
Gerona collected both honors for the second time in her career. A junior, Gerona is a pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Sophomores Martinez, Ramos, Manning, Vollrath and Mrowca rounded out the list of dual recipients by garnering both NAIA and CCAC accolades for the first time. Martinez is completing her requirement for a Bachelor's degree in Radiography, while Ramos is majoring in Political Science and Manning in Nursing. Vollrath is pursuing a degree in Recreation & Sport Management and Mrowca is majoring in Elementary Education. Both Vollrath and Mrowca were two of only seven individuals on the 109-person conference honor roll to boast a perfect 4.00 grade point average.
To be nominated for the CCAC award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
In order to receive NAIA Scholar-Athlete status, nominees must be a sophomore or above in academic standing, must have been in attendance at the nominating institution for one full academic year and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher at the time of the nomination deadline.
