Four Saints Earn All-Conference Honors, Eight Score at CCAC Outdoor Championships

JOLIET, Ill. -- Led by University of St. Francis' second place finish in the 4x800-meter relay event, eight members of the USF women's track & field program contributed to the Fighting Saints' 23 total points at the 2026 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend at Joliet Memorial Stadium.  That landed USF an eighth-place finish among eight squads at the meet.

Olivet Nazarene University gained the team title with its 239 points, while Viterbo University was second with 150.5 and St. Ambrose University third with 146.

The relay team, consisting of Dyannara Franco, Dianna Mascote, Nicole Vollrath and Patrycja Mrowca, fared well in their field of seven competitors, finishing 3.43 seconds behind of the first-place contender with a time of 9:49.26 for eight points.

Franco, Vollrath and Mascote also secured eight additional points for the Saints in the 1,500-meter run.  Franco placed fourth overall (4:49.73) for five points, while Vollrath collected two points by finishing in seventh-place (4:57.57) and Mascote one point with her eighth-place time of 5:04.21.

In the 4x100-meter relay competition, the team of Gianna Trenter, Regan Furmankiewicz, Ruby Cavaliere and Samantha Thompson showcased a time of 54.16 for fifth place (four points).

Cavaliere gained the remaining three individual points for USF with her sixth-place showing in the Long Jump event (4.89m).

By placing in the top three in their event (4x800-meter relay), Franco, Mascote, Vollrath and Mrowca all secured all-conference honors.

Viterbo's Izzy Keck garnered Outstanding Field Event Performer honors, while Saint Xavier University's Yanira Deana Paninka claimed the Outstanding Track Event Performer accolades.  Olivet Nazarene's Teleyah Covington was named the meet's MVP.

Olivet Nazarene's Kyle Rago was named the CCAC Coach of the Year, while Olivet Nazarene's Jackie Torres was tagged as the league's Assistant Coach of the Year.
