BOURBONNAIS, Ill./GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The University of St. Francis women's outdoor track & field team gained ten Top 10 finishes between the Olivet Nazarene Univeristy Tiger Open on Friday and the Grand Valley State University Extra Meet on Saturday.
At the Grand Valley meet,
Dyannara Franco competed in the 5,000-meter race with the senior claiming a tenth-place finish. She recorded a time of 17:38.86.
Highlighting the list of performers at the Tiger Open with Top 5 finishes were
Nicole Vollrath,
Dianna Mascote and
Brooklyn Stuckey.
Vollrath placed third overall in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 10:48.90 with Mascote crossing the finish line close behind in fourth place at 11:04.79.
Stuckey, meanwhile, authored a fifth-place finish in the javelin throw with a final distance of 22.24 meters.
Regan Furmankiewicz (100-meter dash), Mascote (1,500-maeter race),
Aaralyn Martinez (3,000-meter run), Stuckey (high jump),
Jaqueline Tecuanhuehue (long jump) and the 4x100m relay four-man contingent of
Gianna Trenter,
Samantha Thompson,
Ruby Cavaliere and Furmankiewicz) also registered Top 10 placements. Furmankiewicz claimed sixth place overall with a time of 13.06, while Mascote finished in tenth place at 5:05.89. Martinez claimed a seventh-place finish with a time of 11:14.95, and the 4x100m relay took sixth place with at 53.07. In the field events, Stuckey posted a final height of 1.32m for ninth place, and Tecuanhuehue recorded a final distance of 4.51m, also for ninth place.
No team scores were recorded at the meet.
