CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa/Elmhurst, Ill. -- Led by

Nicole Vollrath,
Dianna Mascote and
Aaralyn Martinez the University of St. Francis women's outdoor track & field team gained four Top 10 finishes between the Mount Mercy University Mustang Distance Carnival on Friday and the Elmhurst University Chicagoland Championships on Saturday.
At the Mount Mercy meet, Franco opened the day with a second-place finish in the 1,500-meter run. She recorded a personal-best time of 4:42.22 and defeated nine other competitors out of the eleven total, before Vollrath, Mascote and Martinez all claimed Top 10 honors in the 5,000-meter run. Vollrath completed the race in second-place with a personal-best time of 18:19.30, while Mascote finished in fourth clocking in at 18:41.11, Martinez rounded out the group in tenth-place, with her time of 19:24.74. Twenty-two competitors competed in the event.
Highlighting the list of performers at the Chicagoland Championships with top half finishes were
Regan Furmankiewicz,
Lilia Hacker and
Jaden Hart in the 200-meter race, 400-meter run and Hammer Throw events, respectively. Furmankiewicz placed 28th overall amongst 83 competitors in a time of 27.14, while Hacker crossed the finish line in 30th place of 60 at 1:04.51. Hart recorded a final distance of 35.67m to place 23rd overall in a field of 48.
No team scores were recorded at the meet.
