BOURBONNAIS, Ill. --
Regan Furmankiewicz recorded a personal-best mark in the 60-meter sprint and
Lilia Haker did the same in the 400-meter run as the University of St. Francis women's indoor track & field tam competed at the Olivet Nazarene University Walter Cramer Invite on Friday afternoon.
Among a contingent of 24 sprinters on Friday, Furmankiewicz punched her ticket to the 60m finals after qualifying with a tenth-place overall finish with her time of 8.43. In the finals, the junior finished the day ninth overall with a final time of 8.42.
Hacker established her personal best while competing against 21 runners in the 400m run. She placed eleventh overall with a time of 1:04.68
Furmankiewicz also recorded USF's final Top 15 finish of the day in the 200-meter race. She crossed the finish line in 28.50 seconds for thirteenth place.
Rounding out the top finishes were Hacker,
Gianna Trenter, Furmankiewicz and
Makenzie Piwcewicz, who competed as a team in the 4x400-meter relay. The quartet placed second overall amongst with a final time of 4:29.55.
