CHICAGO -- Sharp shooting resulting in a career-high from University of St. Francis'
Coryn Fromm propelled the Kiel, Wis. native in receiving Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Fromm garnered the offensive recognition by authoring a personal-best 30 points courtesy of a red-hot shooting hand in USF's only contest of the week. In the 119-33 victory over Mount Mary University on Saturday, the sophomore guard. native hit 11 of her 17 shots for a .647 shooting mark. From long distance, she was even more impressive at .667 (8-of-12).
Fromm also contributed three rebounds, two assists and two steals for the No. 16-ranked Saints, who are a perfect 16-0 on the season and 8-0 in league play.
