East-West's Nyla Liberty led the Phantoms in team-high scoring honors. Nine of her 19 points came from three-point range.
After holding the Phantoms to just 13 points over the first two quarters of play, the Saints pushed their advantage to 40 points (57-17) seventeen seconds into the second half before extending the lead to the midcentury mark after a
Baylei Johnson layup pushed the scoring margin to 70-20 with three minutes remaining in the third quarter. East-West cut into a 56-point deficit with an 8-3 run to start the final frame, but the Saints responded with a 17-5 scoring burst of their own to reach triple digits (100-40) with 2:15 left in regulation. Scott would later close out the game for the Saints with a long-range dagger to mark the final score at 103-44.
St. Francis shot 45.7 percent for the contest (37-of-81) to that of East-West's 23.2 reading (13-of-56). The Saints also shot nearly 60 percent in the closing half (21-of-36), where they outscored the Phantoms 52-31. Head coach
John McGinty's club also out-boarded the guests 63-35 while amassing 28 second chance points as part of a 52-12 points-in-the-paint differential with the guests.
USF set the tone early in the game by taking advantage of 25 Phantom turnovers, nine of which occurred in the first quarter, which netted the Saints 10 of their 29 points-off-turnovers for the game. East-West had eight points off 13 USF miscues.
The win was the 15th in a row for the Saints, who are now a perfect 15-0 on the 2025-26 campaign.
