JOLIET, Ill. -- Led by Evita Martinez's eighth place finish among 69 competitors in the 5,000-meter run, nine members of the University of St. Francis women's outdoor track & field team competed at USF's own Fighting Chance Invite on Friday and Saturday.

Martinez notched her eighth-place finish with a time of 17:40.26.  USF's next highest finish in the event came from Dyannara Franco who crossed the finish line at 17:50.61.  Nicole Vollrath rounded out the USF representatives in the race 18:48.26.

The meet was the final meet of the 2025 regular season for the Saints.
