KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its 2025 Competitive Dance All-American Teams and the University of St. Francis is represented by one member of its squad with Kristen Myers claiming a spot on the 14-member third team.
Myers, a graduating member of the USF program, has now claimed the honor of All-American for the third consecutive year. She previously claimed first team status after her sophomore and junior campaigns.
Sara Gundacker and Josie Kaffenberger of both of St. Ambrose University (Iowa) were named Co-Dancers of the Year by the association. Midland University's head coach Erin Sibbald was named the 2025 NAIA Coach of the Year after leading the Warriors in claiming the 2025 national title.
The All-America teams are determined by the national championship judges and they are graded on a scale where 16-plus places someone on the First Team, 14.5-15.99 on the Second Team and 12.0-14.49 on the Third Team. Student-athletes are recorded doing four elements: range leaps, triple pirouette, two 8-count turns and dance choreography. They are graded on a scale of 1-5 ranging from poor form and technique to superior form and technique.
