GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Two members of the University of St. Francis competitive dance program have been recognized for both their academic and athletic performances this past spring with the announcement of the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NAIA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team. Those gaining the recognition were
Cierra Cosentino and
Alyssa Hoffman.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the dance floor and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically and boast no less than a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, while performing at an elite athletic level. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Hoffman secured CSC All-District honors for the first time in her career after she secured NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second time this spring. She also picked up American Midwest Conference (AMC) all-academic accolades for the first time in 2025. Hoffman is a sophomore Elementary Education major.
Cosentino, who is also a CSC All-District recipient and AMC all-academic team member for the first time, is a junior pursing a degree in Psychology.
USF closed out the 2024-25 competition season with a fifth-place finish at the AMC Championships in its inaugural league season, followed by second-place (Jazz Division) and fifth-place (Hip Hop Division) efforts at the College Classic National Championships.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions – NCAA I, II and III and NAIA. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this month.
