DAVENPORT, Iowa --
Allison Ramsey and
Nicole Vollrath each scored individual titles to lead the University of St. Francis women's indoor track & field team to a fifth-place finish at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships over the weekend.
Ramsey and Vollrath were two of four Saints to help produce the team's 40 total points, with Ramsey being the only one to score in three individual competitions.
Dyannara Franco and
Jaden Hart also earned one fourth-place individual finish each.
Olivet Nazarene University claimed the league championship crown with its 279-point total, followed by Viterbo University (166 points) in second place and Saint Xavier University (102) in third. A total of eight teams made up the field.
Along with her first-place finish among 14 competitors in the 3,000-meter event, Ramsey also secured second- and fifth-place finishes in the 1,000- and 800-meter races, respectively. Her time in the 3000m race was 10:20.88, while she crossed the finish line for the 1000m race in 2:57.56. For the 800m race, she authored a time of 2:18.38.
For her performances in the 3000m and 1000m events, Ramsey procured all-conference accolades.
Also receiving all-league honors for her first-place finish in the mile run was Vollrath. She bested 21 competitors in the event, pacing the group with her time of 5:16.68.
The Saints also had a pair of fourth-place finishers in Franco and Hart. Franco earned her placement in the 3000m (10:37.07), while Hart did so in the weight throw (12.39m).
Olivet Nazarene's Hannah Antkoviak garnered Outstanding Track Athlete accolades, while Viterbo's Olivia Wingo claimed Outstanding Field Athlete honors. Antkoviak was also named the meet's MVP.
Olivet Nazarene's Kyle Rago was named the CCAC Coach of the Year, while Olivet Nazarene's Zontavius Johnson was tagged as the league's Assistant Coach of the Year.

The Saints are at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet, which will take place at the Kelly Family Sports Center in Allendale, Mich. next Friday (February 14). They will also travel to Naperville, Ill. to compete in the North Central College Chicagoland Indoor Invite on Saturday (February 15).
