ALLENDALE, Mich./NAPERVILLE, Ill. --
Allison Ramsey recorded a personal-best mark in the mile run and the University of St. Francis women's indoor track & field distance medley relay team hit the NAIA 'B' standard at the Grand Valley State University (Mich.) Big Meet on Friday and Saturday to send both parties to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships from Feb. 27-March 1.
Among a contingent of 27 long-distance runners on Friday, Ramsey punched her ticket to the NAIA Indoor Championships by hitting the 'A' standard with her time of 4:57.77. That mark currently sits as the seventh-best in the NAIA this winter.
Ramsey was also part of USF's distance medley relay team that hit the 'B' standard on Saturday, which also qualified it to compete in the event at the NAIA Indoor Championships. The team of

Dyannara Franco and Ramsey crossed the finish line in 12:17.28. That time currently sits as the 14th-best mark in the NAIA this season.
Four Saints also competed on Friday at the North Central College Chicagoland Indoor Championships.
Jaden Hart, as well as
Lilia Hacker,
Patrycja Mrowca and
Olivia Bukowski, placed at the meet with the latter three all racing in the 800-meter run. Hart competed in the weight throw.
Hacker placed 10th overall with her final time of 2:31.03, while Mrowca (2:41.15) and Bukowski (2:44.03) finished 28th and 33rd, respectively. Forty-six individuals competed in the event.
Hart authored a placement of 11th overall among 28 individuals with her longest distance being 12.31 meters.

The Saints will compete next at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will take place Feb. 27-March 1 at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center in Gainesville, Fla. Ramsey will compete in the mile run, while the Saints will also field a team in the DMR.
