ALLENDALE, Mich. --
Nicole Vollrath topped the list of University of St. Francis women's indoor track & field performers at the Grand Valley State University (Mich.) Holiday Open on Friday, placing seventh overall with a time of 18:44.26 in her heat in the 5,000-meter race. She was one of three Saints to place in the Top 25 of their individual events on the day.
USF's other top performances came in the shot put and weight throw competitions. Highlighting the report was
Jaden Hart, who placed 18th individually in the shot put (9.40 meters), and 24th overall in the weight throw (12.37 meters).
Nyajia Straughter also competed in the shot put for the Saints, finishing 20th overall with her performance of 8.52 meters.
Up Next
USF's next competition takes place one week from Friday, on Dec. 13 when it competes at the St. Ambrose University (Iowa) Finals Week Invite. The two-day event will conclude on Dec. 14.
