INDIANAOLA, Iowa --- Mara Bruno and Allison Ramsey both earned NAIA "B" standard marks at the Simpson College (Iowa) Kip Janvrin Open on Friday to lead the University of St. Francis women's outdoor track & field program.

Ramsey hit the mark in the 5,000-meter race, where she placed ninth out of better than 100 runners.  She finished in a time of 17:35.68.

Bruno ran the 400-meter dash in 57.26 seconds to place third out of 23 racers in gaining her mark.  She also placed fifth out of 34 runners in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 25.58 seconds.    

The Saints compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships next Friday and Saturday at Joliet Memorial Stadium.
