Taylor Petz and
Shannon Smith both competed in the weather-abbreviated Olivet Nazarene University Spring Tiger Invite at Kankakee Elks Country Club on Friday. The tournament was scheduled to run two days, but was shortened due to Saturday morning's inclement conditions.
Petz finished in a tie for 14th place among 32 total golfers. She registered a round of 93. Smith was one stroke back at 94 to place 16th.
Saint Xavier University's Hannah Kilbane edged out Grace College's Carolyn Pacocha for medalist honors on a tie-breaker. Both players shot a 77.
Grace was the top team finisher with its score of 332.
St. Francis returns to action April 8 at the Saint Xavier Battle At The Creek at Creek Course at Morris Country Club.
