BOURBONNAIS, Ill. --- The second indoor track & field meet in as many days resulted in five individual and two relay top three performances for the University of St. Francis women's team at the Olivet Nazarene University Holiday Open on Saturday.
Topping the list was
Hannah Berdahl and USF's 4x400-meter relay team, both of which earned first-place finishes. Berdahl led a sweep of the top three spots in the one mile run for the Saints with her time of 5:28.11.
Alexia Bibakis was next in line at 5:28.26 followed by
Veronica Navarrete at 5:38.03.
St. Francis also sponsored two teams in the relay event with the quartet of
Celina Mayforth,
Mara Bruno,
Kayah Cherry-Myles, and
Talia Jones-Wright crossing the finish line first in 4:03.86. Right behind at 4:20.10 was the team of
Maylee Ang-Henrikson,
Megan Krisch,
Gianna Trenter, and
Laura Rodriguez-Lugo.
Krisch also earned an individual runner up placement in the 400-meter dash with her time of 1:04.73.
Teghan Tillman placed second, as well, in the high jump with an effort of five feet, one inch (1.55 meters).
No team scores were kept at the event.
