Men’s Tennis Drops Conference Decision To St. Ambrose

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team fell to St. Ambrose University (Iowa) on Tuesday afternoon as the Bees scored a convincing 4-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory at the North Scott High School Tennis Courts in Davenport, Iowa.

USF (0-5, 0-2 CCAC) did win 10 games on the day, one in doubles play and nine in singles with Jedriel Bondoc claiming seven of the singles victories.

Bondoc was also part of the one doubles win in a 3-1 contest that went unfinished at the No. 1 position as a result from St. Ambrose claiming their first point of the match with wins at Nos. 2 (6-0) and 3 (forfeit).

Bondoc's seven wins in singles came at the No. 1 slot in 6-4, 2-3 contests, the latter of which went unfinished.

Due to forfeits at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, the lone other match that was completed was a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles by St. Ambrose (11-4, 1-1).
