Box Score BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team posed little threat to Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers scored a convincing 4-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory at Snowbarger Athletic Complex in Bourbonnais, Ill.
USF (0-4, 0-1 CCAC) won just four games on the day, two in singles play and two in doubles with its limited four-player contingent.
Jedriel Bondoc and
John Kenny claimed the two doubles wins in a 3-2 contest that went unfinished at the No. 1 position as a result from Olivet claiming their first point of the match with wins at Nos. 2 (6-0) and 3 (forfeit).
Kenny and
Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera also recorded one game win apiece at Nos. 2 and 3 singles in 6-1, 4-0 and 6-1, 5-0 contests, respectively, which each went unfinished.
Due to forfeits at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, the lone other match that was completed was a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles by Olivet Nazarene (5-6, 1-0 CCAC).
