CHICAGO -- University of St. Francis' Tyler Anderson has claimed the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honor for 2026, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Anderson captured the track honors after being the top NAIA finisher in the 5,000-meter event out of 283 runners covering all collegiate levels at the Washington University (Mo.) Distance Carnival on Friday.  The junior finished the race in 14:50.06.
