BOURBONNAIS, Ill./GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The University of St. Francis men's outdoor track & field team gained twelve Top 10 finishes between the Olivet Nazarene University Tiger Open on Friday and the Grand Valley State University Extra Weekend Meet on Saturday.

At the Grand Valley meet, the Saints put showcased a pair of runners that competed in the 10,000-meter race with Tyler Anderson highlighting the duo with his first-place finish.  His time of 30:49.49 hit a NAIA "B" standard mark and was also a personal best for the junior.  Scott Crabb followed up with a 3rd place standing at 31:25.58.

Highlighting the list of performers at the Tiger Open with Top 5 finishes were Jack Wright, Alberto Fernandez Arango, Cris Estanol and Jerrico Rodriguez.

Wright placed second overall in the 1,500-meter race in a time of 4:00.49 with Fernandez Arango crossing the finish line close behind in fifth place at 4:05.41.

Fernandez Arango also recorded a Top 5 finish in the 3,000-meter run.  He recorded a time of 9:07.89 to claim fifth place honors, while Estanol finished one place higher at fourth with a time of 9:04.23.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, authored a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a final distance of 6.44 meters.

Karson Shrum (1,500-meter race, 3,000-meter run), Greyson Harrington (200-meter dash) and the 4x100m relay four-man contingent of John Hannah III, Rodriguez, Ellias Smith and Harrington) also registered Top 10 placements.  Shrum claimed tenth place overall in the 1,500m with a time of 4:11.96 and eighth place in the 3,000m at 9:20.98, while Harrington finished in tenth place with a time of 22.51.  The 4x100m relay took seventh place with a time of 43.31.

No team scores were recorded at the meet.
