CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. -- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team continued its spring season competing in a tune-up match hosted by Prairie State College dropping a 0-6 decision to the Pioneers on Sunday afternoon in Chicago Heights, Ill.
Jack O'Donnell produced the most success for USF by winning five games in a 6-2, 6-3 loss at No. 3 singles.
In the other singles matches played,
John Kenny came up on the short end of a hard fought 6-3, 6-1 decision in the No. 1 spot, while
Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera suffered a 6-2, 6-2 defeat at No. 2.
Justin Joseph rounded out USF's competitors at No. 4 in registering a 6-1, 6-0 loss.
The Pioneers were able to take down the Saints in both double matches earlier in the afternoon. USF's lone game victory came at No. 2 with O'Donnell and Joseph producing a 6-1 loss to Tendai Chihowa and Marko Brkovic. PSC also claimed a victory at No. 1 doubles (Fernandez-Pedrera / Kenny) 6-0.
