Saints Fall To Neighboring Rival Lewis

Box Score LOCKPORT, Ill. --- Neighboring rival and NCAA II foe Lewis University claimed a 7-0 victory over the University of St. Francis men's tennis team on Sunday afternoon at Challenge Fitness.

The Fighting Saints were limited to just four game victories on the day with three of the four coming from Jedriel Bondoc.  He dropped a 6-1 decision at No. 1 doubles with Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera before falling 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

Justin Joseph and Jack O'Donnell provided the other game win in their 6-1 setback at No. 2 doubles.

The Saints fell to 0-4 on the season with the loss, while Lewis improved to 2-8. 

Up Next
The Saints are at Prairie State College for a scrimmage next Monday (March 31).
