Box Score LOCKPORT, Ill. -- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team opened its spring season on Saturday night, dropping a 4-0 decision to Indiana Institute of Technology at Challenge Fitness.
Jedriel Bondoc captured the most games on the night for the Fighting Saints (0-1). He dropped a 6-1 decision paired with
Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera in the No. 1 doubles slot before falling 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
Fernandez-Pedrera had a competitive second set at No. 2 singles before eventually falling 6-0, 6-4.
Indiana Tech (2-3) claimed the other two singles matches played by 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 counts. The Warriors also won at No. 2 doubles 6-0.
