Box Score LOCKPORT, Ill. --- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team fell to 0-2 on the season after dropping a 7-0 decision to NCAA II Roosevelt University on Saturday night at Challenge Fitness.
Jedriel Bondoc and
Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera were the only Saints' doubles team to win any games on the night. The duo dropped a 6-3 decision at the No. 1 slot, with Roosevelt going on to win 6-0 at No. 2 and by default in the third match.
In singles play, Bondoc won the most games of USF's four players, falling 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1. Fernandez-Pedrera captured four games in a 6-3, 6-1 defeat at No. 2, while Roosevelt won the other two matches played by 6-0, 6-0 counts.
The Lakers improved to 7-4 on the season with the win.
