KANSAS CITY, Mo./St. LOUIS, Mo. -- In its inaugural year of membership in the American Midwest Conference, the University of St. Francis competitive dance team garnered a total of nine all-academic selections when the AMC announced its winter academic honor roll on Wednesday morning.  Two of those named were also chosen as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Alyssa Hoffman and Kathleen Norton each secured NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second time in their careers, while picking up AMC accolades for the first time.  Hoffman is a sophomore Elementary Education major, while Norton is a junior majoring in Political Science.

Hoffman and Norton were joined by a group of seven other Saints on the AMC All-Academic Team.  That list was made up of Sara Borik, Anna Bremer, Cierra Cosentino, Addison Decker, Brianna Hoffman, Aleksandria Potoczny and Stefanie Schellhorn.

Senior Brianna Hoffman and Schellhorn, a junior, are each majoring in Nursing, while Cosentino, a junior, and Bremer, a freshman, are both pursing a degree in Psychology.  Potoczny, a junior, is working towards a degree in Biology, with freshmen Borik and Decker are majoring in Radiography.
