BROOKINGS, S. Dak. --- The indoor season has come to an end for the University of St. Francis men's track & field team following Sam Mickelson's participation in the finals of the 3,000-meter race at the 2024 NAIA Indoor Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Mickelson placed 12th in the nation in the event with his time of 8:56.75.  Landing the title was Youssef Asslouj, who also won the preliminary round.  The University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) product finished in a time of 8:18.60.

The Saints open their outdoor season the last weekend in March when they compete at the Washington University St. Louis Invite.
