GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- A total of three members of the University of St. Francis women's track & field team and one member of the men's squad competed for the Fighting Saints on the final day of the 2026 NAIA Indoor Championships on Saturday with one member obtaining All-American honors.
Tyler Anderson was the sole male competitor for USF. He was one of 20 individuals competing in in the 5,000-meter race. Anderson finished the day placing 14th overall with a time of 15:00.34.
Earning the top time was Luca Madeo of the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) who recorded a time of 14:13.24.
Representing the women were
Carmen Solis,
Evita Martinez and
Dyannara Franco. They were among 20 individuals competing in the 3,000-meter race.
Solis registered USF's top finish, placing 7th in a time of 10:00.39. Martinez was 18 seconds behind in 12th place at 10:18.69, while Franco finished in 10:29.84 to place 19th.
Earning the top time was Ellen-Mary Kearney of Milligan University (Tenn.), who recorded a 17:32.62 finish. She along with Solis was one of eight runners to earn All-American honors for their performances.
