ALLENDALE, Mich. --- The University of St. Francis men's indoor track & field team sent its long distance runners to compete at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet Friday. All four runners representing the Fighting Saints program competed in the 5,000-meter run.
Registering the best time in the event was
Michael Reif with his 14:59.16 mark in his heat.
Sam Mickelson was next in line at 15:11.83 in his heat.
USF's other two competitors,
Miguel Garcia and
Scott Crabb, both competed in the same heat with Garcia recording the better time at 15:27.31. Crabb came in at 15:35.61.
The Saints are back in action on Saturday at the University of Chicago Windy City Rumble.
