FORT WAYNE, Ind. --- Led by
Elihu Young, the University of St. Francis men's outdoor track & field team gained four Top 5 finishes at the Indiana Institute of Technology Monday Meet.
Young opened his day with a fifth place finish in the 400 meter dash. He recorded a time of 49.44 seconds in a field of 39 competitors.
Young then teamed up with
Kenny Brown,
Kaizer Giddie, and
Moses Biosah for a runner up finish in the 4x400 meter relay. The quartet ran a 3:20.54 in a race that featured nine teams.
Also highlighting the list of performers were
Pedro Ocampo and
Carlos Martinez. Ocampo won the 1,500 meter race in a time of 3:57.63 with Martinez right behind at 3:58.36. A total of 56 individuals competed in the event.
No team scores were recorded at the meet.
