KANSAS CITY, Mo./CHICAGO -- Led by four-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Quinn McGuire and three-time selections
Cody Nold and
Jacob Jurka, the University of St. Francis baseball team boasted 13 spots on the 2026 CCAC All-Academic Team with eight of those players also earning NAIA Scholar-Athlete status when the respective academic honor rolls were released on Wednesday.
Joining McGuire, Nold and Jurka in posting the double accolades were
Brant Singler,
Luke Guenther,
Brian Graves,
Haruki Maruyama and
Noah Munson.
Those eight were joined by
Joel Hunt,
Jacob Blim,
Frank Curbis,
Ethan Fleming and
Dylan Scafuri on the CCAC squad.
Hunt, who is receiving the CCAC award for the third time in his career, is a senior majoring in Accounting & Business Analysis, while Blim, Curbis, Fleming and Scafuri are all first time CCAC honorees. Blim, a graduate senior, is earning his Master's Degree in Business Administration. Fleming and Scafuri are both seniors with Fleming majoring in Criminal & Social Justice and Scafuri working on his Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics. Curbis is a sophomore majoring in History.
Quinn gained status with both awards for the fourth time in his career as a Saint. He is a graduate senior working on his Master's in Business Administration after previously earning his undergraduate degree in Finance.
Jurka and Nold both three-peated as NAIA Scholar-Athletes and on the CCAC All-Academic Team. Jurka, a graduate student, previously earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and is working on his Master's Degree in Business Administration, while Nold is a senior majoring in Criminal & Social Justice.
Singler and Guenther collected the dual honors for the second year in a row. Singler and Guenther, both graduate students, are pursuing Master Degree's with Singler pursuing a degree in Management after previously obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Media Arts and Guenther pursuing a degree in Business Administration after previously graduating with an undergraduate degree from USF in Finance.
Graves, Maruyama and Munson were named to both teams for the first time in their collegiate careers. Graves, a graduate student, is earning his Master's degree in Business Administration. Maruyama is a senior majoring in Values-Based Management, while Munson is a sophomore Communication & Media Arts major.
Graves was also one of only three CCAC players to boast a perfect 4.00 grade point average among the 117 total named to the CCAC All-Academic Team, doing so at the master's level.
To be nominated for the CCAC award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
In order to receive NAIA Scholar-Athlete status, nominees must be a sophomore or above in academic standing, must have been in attendance at the nominating institution for one full academic year and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher at the time of the nomination deadline.
