NAPERVILLE, Ill. --
Scott Crabb headlined the University of St. Francis men's indoor track & field team's performance at the North Central College Heenan Invite with his first-place finish in the 3000-meter run on Saturday.
Crabb paced 18 other runners in the event, and clocked in with a mark of 8:55.28.Â
Karson Shrum and
Tizoc Landeros also placed in the Top 10 in the event, with Shurm crossing the finish line in second place with a time of 8:58.22. Landeros clocked in with a time of 9:48.92 for eighth place.
Other individual Top 10 finishes on the day included
Jack Wright (2nd place, 4:24.59),
Alberto Fernandez Arango (3rd place, 4:27.00) and
Cris Estanol (4th place, 4:30.95) in the mile run, Wright (4th place, 2:01.51), Fernandez Arango (6th place, 2:03.89) and Estanol (8th place, 2:04.69) in the 800-meter run, and
Tyler Anderson (8th place, 15:28.57) in the 5000-meter run.
