KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two years after making history by becoming the first University of St. Francis women's tennis player to earn NAIA All-America honors in the 48-year history of the program and just one year after duplicating the feat,
Anna Bintsarovskaya did it again Friday afternoon when she registered an impressive three-peat of the elite status.
A second team selection in 2022-23 and a third team honoree in 2023-24, the junior claimed third team accolades again this spring. For the season, she went 6-1 at No. 1 singles and 3-3 in doubles competition paired up with
Gabriella Noa at the No. 1 spot.
Bintsarovskaya also claimed the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional crown with a 3-0 showing, before advancing to the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga. While at the national tournament Bintsarovskaya, defeated 2024 NAIA All-American Silva Avakian of Friends University (Kan.) on Friday with scores of 6-1, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2. She followed that performance with another win against Hanna Lindebloom of William Woods University (Mo.) with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) decision. Like Avakian, Lindebloom was also a NAIA All-America choice in 2024.
Those numbers earned Bintsarovskaya a No. 4 International Tennis Association (ITA) national singles ranking in 2024-25, the highest placement ever in USF women's tennis history.
A perfect 3-0 record in singles against league competition also resulted in all-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference singles team recognition for the third straight year. She was selected as the CCAC Player of the Week two times during the 2024-25 season.
In her three seasons with the program, Bintsarovskaya has gone 30-9 in singles play and 19-16 on the doubles circuit with five league Player of the Week awards.
The national honor is her second of the season. She was also named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Team earlier this month. CSC All-American honors will be released in June.
A total of 52 players were recognized on Friday with 16 student-athletes comprising each of the first and second teams. Â The third team is comprised of 20 student-athletes.
