DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Anna Bintsarovskaya recorded a singles win on the day for the University of St. Francis women's tennis team, but that was the only victory on Tuesday afternoon for the Fighting Saints as they dropped a 4-1 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference decision to St. Ambrose University (Iowa) at the North Scott Tennis Courts in Davenport, Iowa.

After St. Ambrose (9-6, 2-0 CCAC) won at Nos. 2 (6-0) and 3 (forfeit) in doubles action and gained two forfeit win at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, the Fighting Saints (2-4, 1-1) rallied to score a point with Bintsarovskaya's 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1.

The Bees, however, followed with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at Nos. 4 to claim the match.

The Saints are off until next Wednesday (April 15) when they host Judson University at 12 pm at Challenge Fitness.
