LOCKPORT, Ill. -- The University of St. Francis women's tennis team garnered two singles wins on the day, but those were the only two victories on Sunday afternoon for the Fighting Saints as they dropped a 4-2 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference decision to Judson University at Challenge Fitness.
After Judson (4-13, 1-2 CCAC) won 6-0 and 6-2 in doubles action, the Fighting Saints (2-6, 1-3) gained two forfeit wins at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, before the Eagles rallied to tie the match at two-all with a victory at No. 2. Judson then went on to author wins at Nos. 3 and 4 to claim the overall victory.
Anna Bintsarovskaya was also part of a singles match that went unfinished at the No. 1 position due to the Eagles previously claiming the fourth and final point before her match was completed. She was winning with scores of 6-3, 3-5.
