Men’s Bowling Finishes Season Tied For Seventh Place At NAIA National Championships

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. -- Duplicating its finish from one year ago, the University of St. Francis men's bowling team came home once again boasting a tie for seventh place in the nation following its 1-2 bracket day at the 2025 NAIA National Championships on Friday at Five Star Lanes.

After dropping a 4-1 decision to fifth-seeded Milligan University (Tenn.) Friday morning, the No. 4-seeded Fighting Saints rallied for a 4-1 victory over No. 11 Hastings College (Neb.).  After winning by 14 pins in the first game, USF dropped its second game 218-150 to knot the match at one-all.  St. Francis then stormed back and eventually gained advancement by winning the final three sets (202-188, 258-198, 220-199).

A matchup with No. 9 seed Kansas Wesleyan University followed with the two teams splitting their first four games.  USF then took a 3-2 lead with its 212-175 victory in Game 5 only to have Kansas Wesleyan force the third tie of the match with its tight 190-180 win in Game 6.  The Coyotes also won Game 7 by a 216-191 count to advance.

The tournament wrapped up season play for St. Francis' team as a whole.  Ardani Rodas, however, advances to the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Singles Championships April 14-19 in Las Vegas, Nev.
