BOURBONNAIS, Ill. --- Led by freshman
Adrien Manning, the University of St. Francis men's indoor track & field team earned six top four finishes at the Olivet Nazarene University Walter Cramer Invite on Saturday.
Manning placed second among 66 individuals in the 200-meter dash and tied for fourth out of 61 competitors in the 60-meter dash. In the latter race, he recorded a time of 7.11 seconds, while in the 200 he ran a 22.54.
USF also held the top three spots in the 1,000-meter race with
Pedro Ocampo winning the event in a time of 2:34.53.
Darius Brown edged out teammate
Michael Corcoran for runner-up positioning, 2:36.13-2:36.27.
In the weight throw,
Kendall Burrow placed fourth among 29 individuals with a distance of 47 feet, 6.25 inches.
The Saints compete in their final regular-season meet next Friday and Saturday when they head to Allendale, Mich. for the Grand Valley State University Big Meet.
