NORTH NEWTON, Kan. --- The University of St. Francis women's dance team earned a third-place finish among seven teams at the Bethel College (Kan.) Thresher Invitational on Friday night.  It was the first of three competitions this weekend hosted by Bethel.

USF earned a score of 78.07 points to fall just short of its second straight runner-up finish.  Kansas Wesleyan University gained that spot with its 78.3 reading.

St. Ambrose University claimed the competition title with its 85.2 score.
