GULF SHORES, Ala. --- Thursday's action at the 2022 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships saw two individuals and one relay team compete for the University of St. Francis at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium Complex.
Individually,
Omar Paramo and
Michael Reif made up part of the 29 person field in the 10,000 meter event. Paramo placed 11th with a time of 31:31.23, while Reif was right behind him in 12th place at 31:37.27.
In the relay competition, USF's contingent of
Daasebre Appah-Dankyi,
Kaizer Giddie,
Jordan Freese, and
Jalen Brown placed 17th among 22 teams in the 4x400 meter race at 3:24.49.
On Friday, Paramo will compete in the 5,000 meter event with
Carlos Martinez seeking NAIA All American status in the finals of the 1,500 meter race.
