BOURBONNAIS, Ill. --- The University of St. Francis men's indoor track & field team brought home four individual titles and four runner up finishes at the Olivet Nazarene University Holiday Open on Saturday.
Kenny Brown led the way with both a first- and second-place performance. He broke the tape first in the 200-meter dash (22.68 seconds), while finishing second behind teammate
Moises Biosah in the 60-meter dash (7.13). Biosah was two-hundredths of a second faster at 7.11.
The Saints also gained winning efforts from
Darius Brown and
Daasebre Appah-Dankyi. Brown claimed the mile run in 4:38.42 with Appah-Dankyi winning the high jump with his height of six feet, 4.75 inches.
Kaizer Giddie was right behind
Kenny Brown in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 23.32 seconds.
Erik Tejeda posted the other individual runner up finish with his time of 4:41.93 in the mile run.
USF's other top performance came in the 4x400-meter relay, where the team of
Patrick Todd,
Richard Todd,
Jaylen Goolsby, and
Adam Montenegro recorded a time of 3:38.51 to place second.
No team scores were kept at the event.
