CHICAGO -- The top NAIA performer at the prestigious University of Notre Dame National Catholic Invite on Friday, University of St. Francis' Evita Martinez used that effort to secure her second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for 2026, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Martinez placed 13th overall in a field of 190 runners comprising seven NCAA I schools, two from NCAA II, three NCAA III squads and three from the NAIA.  The junior's time of 18:07.9 over the 5K course was a personal best as well as ranking ninth on USF's all-time list.

As a team, the Saints were fourth among 15 squads.
