TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --
Nicole Vollrath represented the University of St. Francis at the 46th Annual NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships, featuring the nation's top NAIA cross country teams fighting to earn the Red Banner on Friday, November 21.
The sophomore from Dyer, Ind., finished 158th out of 333 participants in the 6k race at Apalachee Regional Park, completing the course in 23:25.4.
The top finisher in the field was Taylor University's (Ind.) sophomore phenom Jaynie Halterman, who posted a time of 20:24.7 in claiming her second straight individual national title. Taylor beat out Milligan University (Tenn.) by 19 points (90-109) to claim the 2025 team national title. Thirty-six teams in total competed in the event.
Vollrath concluded the 2025 season for the Saints with an all-conference performance at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and her second appearance at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships.
