CHICAGO -- University of St. Francis'
Logan LaFrance has earned the first 2026 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference weekly award for men's soccer, the league office announced on Tuesday.
LaFrance, stopped eight shots on goal to warrant CCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career. Those all came in a 1-0 setback to Marian University (Ind.) this past Thursday.
Included in the count for the freshman was stopping a penalty kick attempt followed by a subsequent rebound to keep the contest scoreless in the opening half. The goal LaFrance did allow came in the 78th minute.
The contest was the first of the season for St. Francis.
