GREENWOOD, Ind. -- One member of the University of St. Francis men's bowling program has garnered recognition as a 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NAIA Academic All-District selection. Announced as a men's at-large team selection for the first time in his career was
Trevor Anifer.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the lanes and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically and boast no less than a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, while performing at an elite athletic level. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
In his first year as a member of the St. Francis program, Anifer appeared in all 10 varsity tournaments during the 2025-26 season. He averaged a 207.4 mark with a single-game high of 280 this past winter with his best performance of the year coming at the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out (Dec. 20-21), where he bowled to a 228.6 average and helped the Saints in securing the tournament championship.
A Marketing major, he is a Dean's List recipient in each of his two semesters at the university.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions – NCAA I, II and III and NAIA. Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this month.
