Hoffman Named To CSC Competitive Dance All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- One member of the University of St. Francis competitive dance program has been recognized for both her academic and athletic performances this past spring with the announcement of the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NAIA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team.  Gaining the recognition was Alyssa Hoffman.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the dance floor and in the classroom.  To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically and boast no less than a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, while performing at an elite athletic level.  Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

Hoffman secured CSC All-District honors for the second time in her career after she secured NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors and American Midwest Conference All-Academic honors for the second time this spring.  She is a junior Elementary Education major.

USF closed out the 2025-26 competition season with a fourth-place finish at the AMC Championships in its second league season.

The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions – NCAA I, II and III and NAIA.  First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this month.
