No. 15 Saints Cruise To 76-54 Win Over Judson

ELGIN, Ill. -- The University of St. Francis women's basketball team continued its dominance of the 2025-26 season by winning its nineteenth game on Wednesday evening, running past Judson University 76-54.  The two teams matched up consistently through the first three quarters of play before the Saints cruised to a 22-11 advantage in the final 10 minutes resulting in a 76-54 final score at the conclusion of the contest.  The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win was the eleventh of the year for the Fighting Saints (19-1), upping their league mark to 11-1.

Registering a three-point advantage (16-13) after the first quarter, St. Francis would widen the scoring gap to as high as 13 points in the second quarter after Tykara Harrison, Symone Harrell and Laurelei Thormeyer each connected from long range.  Judson countered with a three-pointer of its own in the last minute of the period to mark the score at 35-25 heading into the locker room.

The Saints continued their offensive pressure at the start of the third quarter, adding onto their lead with two quick layups from Harrison. Harrell would add another triple to her total a few minutes later followed by a Coryn Fromm three-pointer to help the Saints widen their advantage to 16 points (48-32) with 5:26 remaining in the quarter.  The Eagles did not go away, though, as they managed an 11-6 run over the final five minutes to close out the quarter with a 56-43 score.

The fourth quarter showcased the same offensive dominance for USF with the Saints connecting for eight field goals and four free throws in the final 10 minutes of action.  Four different players were able to add to the scoring total in the period with Le'lani Harris leading the way with nine points.  Fromm also gave the Saints a spark coming up with six points to end the game on a high note and push St. Francis to the 76-54 victory.

Harrison led all players with 18 points as she went 5-for-10 from the field with eight rebounds, while Harris (14 points) and Fromm (12) combined to chip in 26 markers.  Rebounding was a team effort with all 10 players accounting for at least one board apiece, while Zhane Singer (11 rebounds) and Harrell (10) lead the way, each registering double-digits.
